Who doesn’t love this scene?!
Finlay is wilful. She also always thinks she’s right, about everything. And she’s very rarely wrong, I’ve found out. But once in a while she’s wrong, and if she is wrong, she won’t admit it. I really love that about her, because then she creates conflicts in her life. It’s fun to play a character that’s creating conflicts, because then her life can be much more dramatic.
One big part of her character is being able to play off of the other characters in CSI. My relationship with Ted Danson’s character is very interesting to me. I love our dynamic together. I like that he sometimes is my father, telling me what to do, which allows me to feel child-like in a way, pushing back and trying to prove myself.
And I love my relationship with the girls in the cast, I love working with Jorja Fox and Elisabeth. We’ve done a really fun episode this season coming up called “Girls Gone Wilder”. […] We’re trying to get the girl power of CSI back. It’s a good environment for my character to play. She loves people. There’s a lot of really great characters on this show that she can interact with and play with. (x)
